NATICC Update - February
Technology peer coaches have just completed session 7 training. Principals joined coaches for a portion of this training in order to review the attributes of effective school-based professional development and discuss how technology coaching can be a key to the success of this model. In the second half of the training session coaches focused on their experiences and successes in coaching.
All district level contacts for our 2-year EETT grant partnership were recently sent an e-mail requesting that each school district begin to consider potential coach candidates for the 2008-2009 school year. Please let us know if further support is needed from us in order to make this decision.
In January information about the success of our EETT grant partnership was shared with individuals at the AzTEA Teaching & Technology Conference in Tucson, AZ.
The project facilitators have been making visits to many of the technology coaches in recent weeks in order to evaluate coaching progress and success and to determine ways that we can be of further support to the technology coaches within the consortium districts.
